Samsung is back with another Galaxy Note. This model features a display that is 5.5 inches in size. That’s a lot for a phone, but Samsung put it to good use by making it a super AMOLED, high definition screen. Plus, it’s 1,280×720 pixels, which comes down to a pixel density of 267ppi. That gives this display few rivals in the market and makes it great for reading, viewing videos and playing games.
The other reason Samsung gave the Galaxy Note 2 such a large screen is its S pen stylus functionality, which makes it easier to use many of the phone’s features. However, it should be noted that all you need to use this device is your fingers.
This phone runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, which means you’ll have Note 2 running with TouchWiz interface. Above all else, TouchWiz provides amazing functionality that helps to bring about the vision Google had for Android in the first place. So even without the stylus, the Note 2’s touch screen complements the operating system well.
The Galaxy Note 2 was made with an extreme degree of customization. For example, you can modify and choose seven different home screens alone. There are also shortcuts for lock screen and various motion controls. Samsung designed this phone with the user’s experience in mind, as it constantly updates preferences based on their past choices. Users can also manually have the phone load up “easy mode” which immediately fills the home screen with their most used settings, apps and contacts.
With too many features to count and many unique to the device, the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 offers a much different experience than others in the market.
